Lojarítmo Cúbico 3 was created in early 2005 out of our intensive workshop at C.E.M. Lisbon's Centro Em Movimento (Center In Movement) which is an artistic research center. The creations performed in windows of various storefronts in Lisbon's hip Bairro Alto were derived from an exploration of the Advance D-Lux performance philosphy.

Advance D-Lux Philosophy:
Advance D-Lux is the construction of the deconstruction of the reconstruction of the deconstruction of the construction. It is simply the idea of breaking, taking apart, building something else and breaking it again. The feeling behind this is that we as creators now sit on top of a giant multi-cultural refuse and what do we do with all of this garbage beautiful, spiritual, intellectual, base, vile, disgusting that we have inherited? How do we make it functional as beauty, for spirit or for the mind? How do we leave the future with something better? We accept the garbage and take responsibility to seek a way that this garbage can be transformed, like an alchemist from bygone days turning a lump of coal into gold.
