Dear All,

I recently got the chance to record with Jesse Malin and band in NYC just before they left to go on tour! It's a special live bootleg called "Love It To Life" that was recorded in just one day, and it's exclusively available from www.indian.co.uk and on his UK tour. So go get it while you can!!!

www.jessemalin.com

Jesse and the band were in fine form and good spirits, and I kindly thank them all for the cool jammin' and hot pizza. "Love It To Life" has very cool versions of 10 Malin songs including a sweet new one called "Here Comes The One".

Track Listing (with my "bits"): Subway, Don't Let Them Take You Down (tambo), Hotel Columbia (organ), Cigarettes & Violets (piano), Downliner, Almost Grown (ice bells), Here Comes The One (crazy pumpkin shaker), Going Out West (organ), Wendy, In The Modern World (synth)

Damn. I was at Jesse's show in London with Manda last night, and we'd have picked up a copy of this in a second if I'd known it existed, C. Of course, it wasn't quite the same without you up there... but it wasn't bad, and it's great to see that JM appears to have made a complete recovery from his scary health problems earlier in the year.

I'm going to get my hands on this just as soon as I can...

I'm really enjoying this CD. It's like having your own personal Jesse concert. The songs are familiar but many have a different take on them. Almost grown is really outstanding as a solo acoustic (with ice bells).

Great disc...nice to have another official live disc instead of all the bootlegs. Saw Jesse at Iota in Arlington the other nite...great show but...somehow its not the same without you.
