Mike Ness speaks out on the harmful effects the factory-farming
industry has on the environment. In an exclusive interview for
Peta2.com, Mike discusses what being a vegetarian means to him as well
as bringing awareness to the fact that meat’s not green. Click the following link to watch Mike’s interview with Peta2.com: http://getactive.peta.org/campaign/p2_mike_ness?c=p23480

“I realize this is a very personal issue that not all of us share the same
beliefs on, but I want to thank you for taking the time to take a look
at this regardless of your views.” – Mike Ness

Mike I thank you for being a spokesperson and role model you inspire, I am a long time advocate for animals and like so many other people I fight for animal rights. I know there are alot of people out there that think that they are only one person with one voice but we have to be the voice for animals so everyone keep fighting the good fight and stay stong and vigilant cause we can make a difference!

I don't support PETA (because they kinda aren't what they say they are) but I'm a vegetarian and COMPLETELY agree with the harm factory farm industry has on the environment.

I'm totally stoked about you saying this stuff, Mike Ness!

Way to be real, man!

This was an awesome interview to read and watch. It's good to know that a musician who I respect so much shares the same beliefs as I do and supports such an amazing organization.

Devil or Angel?

Although I am not a vegetarian, I am happy to see celebrities advocating for our environment. Celebrities have a lot of power in our culture, sometimes more than politicians. It is important that people with power stand up for what they believe in, even if that power is not the typical kind. Fans listen to what their favorite bands and actors have to say! Keep up the good work guys, I've been a fan for years and am reassured why every time you speak out against social wrongs and societal issues.

I am by no means a vegetarian, but I agree that factory farming is hurting our environment as well as our children. I'm lucky, I live in a rural community that I can purchase organically raised meat.  I respect anyone's decision to be vegetarian, it's just not for me. BTW when I say "rural community" I mean a town with less than 150 people.....and my hellbilly style sticks out like a sore thumb!!!! ...LOL  Keep on kickin A**!!!
