Interview with Martin Chabot for F'N Lutte.com..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
1) I spoke with Manny and I know that you started IWS (formerly the WWS) with him. How was you career before this? What did IWS bring to your career?
Before that the WWS was created, I had no career in wrestling. I had 2 matches with no professional training at my former college. I never thought that it could lead to something. After the second show in April 1999, myself along with Manny & Nic ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Paterson met up and wanted to continue, we wanted to put out a new product for Quebec wrestling fans. It was the only English wrestling promotion in the province! What started on gym mats in an underground bar has become the foremost Canadian wrestling promotion known internationally, to still be around after 9 years, with our 10 Year Anniversary just around the corner this summer 2009! To be there since the beginning and to have watched it flourish and grow has been amazing!
IWS brought me to Ontario getting me more visibility & brought me to CZW (with IWS matches making my demo tape). CZW led to Smart Mark Video coming in from Philadelphia to tape our shows, after the buzz I created at TOD 3 with my blood squirting everywhere. This led to International exposure bringing me to wrestle in Europe & throughout the United States for: JAPW, PWG, CHIKARA, IWA Mid-South... This also opened the doors for many IWS wrestlers who were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to shine across the border. I was featured on Playboy TV with Tangerine Dream, and I starred on an episode of Prank Patrol on YTV. But best of all, this led me to have SEX with countless women all over the world! I get more ass than a toilet seat bitch!
2) Now you're only a wrestler, and not a promoter. Where do you wrestle and what's your position in those companies?
I enjoy simply being a wrestler & a locker room veteran. No backstage politics or bullshit, my only stress is deciding which chick will be sucking on my dick after the show. I wrestle everywhere & anywhere as long as the money is right and the women are horny!
3) Do you think that in Canada and the USA we have to many indy feds? Do you think it's possible and something good to have a fusion of many indy feds to form one big indy fed?
The more places to work and make money – the better. But there are too many indy feds that: don't pay, have no exposure, and have greenhorns in the ring. This in turn can kill wrestling in some cities.
There have been many big shows combining many independent big names. The shows are off the hook, but the budget is usually too high to make profit. So the promoter gives up, and that becomes their first and last show. Wrestlers should get paid regardless of the turnout, their only job is to perform. Promoters take the risk, their job is to promote and advertise properly which can lead to making tons of money. But if they don't, well you can't really feel sorry for them. They don't put their necks on the line they don't even have to step in the fuckin' ring! As long as I get my money for my work well done, if not - HEADS WILL ROLL!
4) Who are your idols in the wrestling world, and why?
Character personas played a huge influential role on me. Playing the part well wasn't good enough, when some wrestlers came out that curtain, they had to become their characters, that's what got my attention. Larger than life colorful characters like Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior were fun to watch. But the Heartbreak Kid was my inspiration. Shawn Michaels made the girls scream, he would soar through the air, and he was able to beat his bigger opponents in credible matches (he gave them the greatest matches of their careers, examples: Diesel & Sid Vicious). Mick Foley & Rey Mysterio Jr. also had a big impact and influence on my wrestling career.
5) I will put you in a context: Vince McMahon calls you and he wants you in WWE, and he gives you Creative Control. What is the best storyline for SeXXXy Eddy to begin in the WWE?
I would be the Fed's massage therapist - Divas get hurt after their matches and are brought to me, my hands go places in some of the promos, girls get jealous because they all request my services, I take advantage of my position, guys get mad and want to kick my ass. But since I cannot injure my precious hands, I send out others to do my dirty work (in exchange for divas who are smitten by me and my big cock).
6) Is it the same thing for TNA?
I would start a build-up with porno vignettes à la Val Venis, except a little more hardcore with a shitload more nudity! New, improved and a whole lot DIRRRTIER!
7) What is your greatest career moment, and your worst?
I am most proud of being the first professional wrestler to suck a chick's titties in the ring during a live show, Hottie Hollie my former manager was the lucky girl at IWS "Blood, Sweat & Beers" in 2007. The worst moment in my career, other than the injuries, that time when I got CHLAMYDIA from that bitch in New Jersey!
8) Do you believe one day we will see a Quebec fed on TV? And why?
Unfortunately no, but anything can happen in the world of wrestling. 1 big indy fed in Quebec would be amazing, but it's impossible. We would need big $ to get started; and besides there are too many guys in Quebec with big heads that think they are incredible, when really they SUCK ASS! Seriously, if you are not booked out of the province & making good money, then you need to keep working and learning.
9) Last question, do you have something to say for your French fans?
French girls are the best! Je vous adore mes belles salopes ;) Rock Out with your Cock Out, mon osti de calisse!
