Well we played a stormer at the Brentford Festival.
Lots of people in the audience were grooving to us and the three piece line up felt very natural. We really enjoyed it and got loads of great feedback.
We're sticking to the trio format for the time being as it's going so well.
Rehearsals are very productive at the moment too. We've got two new tunes in the bag 'Amazing' and 'Hard Copy' which are ready to add to the set list now.
I'm bringing a song tonight that has the working title of '78' which I like and should sound even better when the boys beat it into shape. We'll be having a recording session in the next few weeks and will be putting some demos up for your delectation soon.
The new material
We've had the offer of assistance on the promotion /management front and will be having a meeting about this soon. We need a bit of back room help so we can concentrate on the playing and writing side more so I hope that turns out to be a goer.
Looking forward to playing the Brief in Croydon on the 27th November. I've had great reports at the venue from some people who've played and attended there. They say it's got a nice layout and has a fun atmosphere.
