Here at BluePanda towers we have always enjoyed the month of January and never quite understood this negativity that people associate with it.
So to celebrate this glorious month, we have two lovely shows coming up. Thursday the 29th @ Pivo Pivo we have The Dirty Demographic, David Bova, Lovers turn to monsters and Simon Doherty. In 2008 we fell head over heels for The Dirty Demographic and their piano-pop-rock madness and are delighted to have them for our first gig of 09. On Sat 31st @  Captain's Rest we have possibly our best line up yet,
Vendor Defender fresh from the studio, Gdansk our band of 2008 and A-lix all three bang on form.
As everybody is skint beyond belief right now, we have reduced our admission for the foreseeable future to £3 which, of course, applies to our January gigs.
Finally, thanks to some eagle eyed readers of 'The Skinny' who got in touch to ask if BluePanda was no longer running gigs.
'The last hurrah of the BluePanda' as the magazine wrote of our Jan 29th gig.
It was certainly news to us, very strange and very wrong. We all make mistakes.
BluePanda is alive and kicking, even if it is January.
