Update: We waited all day for the dealer to arrive with the foal, but he didn't show!! I phoned and left messages, but got no reply. Eventually, I spoke to a woman who said she didn't know anything about the foal coming to me, and that he had been sold. I asked had he gone to a private home, and she told me that he had. All we can do is just pray that the foal is ok. The dealer would have got more money for the foal if he sold him to a private home, so I just have my fingers crossed that all is well with the foal.
