In the vast world of Christian merchandise there may be nothing more tasteless than Christian ties. I work part-time at a Christian bookstore (that will remain nameless) here in the greater Pittsburgh area, and yesterday I was checking in a brand new Christian tie. This one was a real winner. It had tools all over it (certainly a perfect Father's Day gift) and on the bottom was the verse "You bless the works of his hands..." Job 1:10. I thought to myself, "Huh, you don't hear that one much," at which point I remembered that there are only two characters speaking at the beginning of Job, God...and Satan. And guess who's quote found its way onto this tie? That's right, good ol Beelzebubba himself. This just goes to show that the Bible does not work well all spliced up, it tells a pretty good story and often it's best to leave it that way, and next time you are thinking of buying a Christian tie you might want to ask yourself, "Is this God talking to me...or Satan?"

Things are going grand in boywonder land. Our new album "No Spittin' In Church" is now available on iTunes, so along with filling your iPod up with episodes of the Office, you can throw a little boywonder on there too. We're headed down to Florida this weekend to play the Metro Conferance Confirmation retreat, and we are quite pumped about that (especially after seeing all the costumes the place we are playing at has!). As always if you are interested in bringing boywonder to your church or event, drop us a line at boywondermusic@gmail.com, and come on by our freshly redesigned web site, www.boywondermusic.com. God's blessings, we hope you have a wonderful rest of your Lenten season (I've given up soda, so I can't WAIT until Easter!), and we hope to see you somewhere down the road.

In Christ,

Chandler, Jill, & Matt

Beezelbubba! I bought that tie. Just kidding. I would never purchase something so ridiculous, and it's a good thing you pointed that out. Gee wiz.
