It with a heavy heart that I post the sad news of the passing of a Southern Music Legend. The great Delaney Bramlett  has lost his fight against the forces of declining health, and has passed on.

 Delaney was a musical giant. His works with Delaney and Bonnie and Eric Clapton are still inspiring me after all these years. But it is his newest album "New Kind Of Blues" that has given me the most joy. Not only for the music he plays but the message he delivers.

Delaney is playing for his Savior now... he has be promoted on to glory. May God bless his wife Susan and his family as well as all those who knew him and loved him.
 He will be missed.
