Hey everybody!

I am now a high school graduate and la-la-loving my summer break so far. It's been wonderfully relaxing. Here's some upcoming news that's pretty cool:

1. I begin recording my CD the last week of July at Morningstar Studios near Philly. I'm ecstatic. Stay tuned!

2. Next Monday (June 22nd) I will be opening for the fabulous Blame Sally from San Fransisco at The World Cafe Live in Philly. I met these ladies and Folk Alliance this past winter. They are fantastic musicians who play one of the most energetic, fun shows you'll ever see. Please check it out if you're around! We are playing upstairs at 8:00 pm.

3. My incredibly talented friend Adam Bohemond (artist and photographer) has begun working with me on a stop-motion music video for "Our Way". It's looking very, very sweet. I'll let you all know when it's ready! A "Puzzle Pieces" video is on it's way too.

4. On July 7th, I'm traveling to Winnipeg, Manitoba to collaborate with the beautiful Katherine Johnson and Sarah Hatherly of Prairie Jewel. I'll also be participating in the Winnipeg Folk Festival Young Performer's Program, playing on the fest's Shady Grove Stage on Friday afternoon. I can't wait for this trip!

5. For the folks who live around here: I'm playing MUSIKFEST's Lyrikplatz on Sunday August 2nd at 6:00 pm. That's always one of my favorite gigs to play. I'm also playing two Fridays in August for Clinton, NJ's "Come Together" evening concert series. To learn about more sweet upcoming gigs, check out my calendar.
