You know how people always say you were in the right place at the right time... I believe that's true...I believe it's always true. You are always in the right place at the right time...you just have to open up your eyes and realize it. Somebody upstairs is watching all the time, and you are always were you need to be...

Tonight...I was reminded of that. I am in the midst of reading "The Mastery of Love" by Don Miguel Ruiz. It's wonderful! Work was a little slow for the last hour so I took it out of my bag and began to read....the section I read was about loving yourself, and how important it is to love yourself in order to have successful relationships... it was saying that you should work on your half...and let whoever the other person is; friend, lover, family member work on their half. In terms of finding your love... it doesn't have to be someone like you...."the two of you only need to be like a key in the lock- a match that works. "

I was so taken back by this...very inspired. As I was leaving work I was thinking about going out with a friend this evening...and as I was driving home I saw 2 people out running. I decided...no...I need to go for a run, I need to go home and write...tonight I need to work on my half.

As I was running the sky was so beautiful...red...I was running the same route I always do and "Send Me On My Way" came on my ipod by Rusted Root. As I was looking at the sky I noticed a tree...it looked so awesome against the red night sky...as I came closed I looked down and realized that the tree was split into two sections and joined at the bottom. Each side was growing in it's own direction, but sharing the most important part...the base of the trunk...the roots... the tree is on the corner of a street named Dawn.

At that moment I couldn't help but stop...smile...and thank God for opening my eyes and letting me know. I'm right where I need to be.
