ROT BIOGRAPHY

sup? Arif here behind the works of ROT. i first had the love of art when i was 12. Been doing landscapes and comics(non violent) at that point of time till i was introduce by these fantasy art creatures when i was 13. tons of minimal artworks of dragons and goblins shitts like that. i was in the art school Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. But i was in the interior design course. At that point of time i was naive enough to follow my uncle foot steps coz hes interior were awesome and it fucking stoned me to enter the course. what the hell was i thinking right?

years gone by. while schooling, i did a few, again minimal fantasy artworks. and the skills were slowly fading. caught up with school projects and stuff makes me even more remote from my roots until ive done with my diploma. start heading back to tracks with my arts. so u see im basically wasting 3 years of my fucking time. but then again its good to broaden the mind on different perspective of art. but 3 years was ridiculous. haha.

There i go studying and exploring every single fantasy artist. somehow or rather im getting sick of the same old fantasy and wanted to hands on, on the most extreme art. DARK ARTS. Not only i was into extreme gore art but im musically raised by that shit too. Flesh Disgorged is one of the key elements that brings me to this circle of gore. busting my ass exploring and learning, musically and art.

DEVOURMENT FORUM really did change my art to the whole another level of brutality. you cant get any forum (besides inhuman dissiliency) that has the band so very close with the fans/friends. And moreover Mike is an underground artist himself. My art grew from there. u can say that ROT was born there. bros and sis supporting my art/music all the years through, seeing my progress and steps on every single artwork that ive done. lifting me up to be the most sickest i can be. If it aint for them supporting, screwing, criticising, bombarding about my art, i wont be here still producing and working with bands. thats an honour.

Now im very much comfortable with how my style is and forever ready to ejaculate the sickest for every single one of my projects. so expect the sickest from me in upcoming years to come. i'll bring out your rotten imagination to life.
