Ok, so time for another bands of the week thing.  It's been more than a week since the last one - as predicted, but what-e-ver.

Vessels are releasing a single through cuckundoo, and nearly about to start a large tour of the UK.

Ok something to chill out with after all of of those capitals...soz I couldn't be arsed editing that!

Tim and Sam ( saw these at Songs For The Bathtub.  Xylophones, and clarinetes, and keyboards, and a potential 6 piece,
with 2 members playing that night, presenting quite a post-rock soundscape.  Very chilled)
 
The Across The Pennines site promises a monthly compilation CD of music from both  sides of the Pennines, and  talking of  samplers,TheSilentBallet website has a couple ofawesome ones if your into post-rock related material.

Where's everyone going out at the moment? Here's a few evenings that have caught my attention:

One Step More And You Die .Monday, 29th January.  Club night with all sorts of post-rock related Djing @ Cord Bar in the Northern Quarter.

The next Monster Monster is on Saturday 27th Jan - themed MONSTER MILITIA-WAR ON TERRIBLE.  Had a great NYE here.

Dot Dash on Saturday 3rd Feb @ Scubar looks quite fun too at £2.  Bjork to Sonic Youth and back to Godspeed seems the order of the day here.
