Current mood:Much to the Chagrin of the Neighborhood Dogs.
Category: Dreams and the Supernatural
I'm set to play two shows in the next 8 days, both for Art-o-matic 419 2009.  One is today at 5:30, and will be centered around some circuit bent electronics.  The other will be at 8:30 on next Satyrday (May 2nd).  The May 2nd show will be a longer, more performance-oriented set, and will revolve around moderately processed acoustic sounds as they reverberate through wood.  You know they say that it's the wood that makes it good.  They being those goats.  However, us humans, find wood much harder to digest than do goats, so many may find that they disagree with our goat cousins.  Of course those people lack prehensile lips/tongues, so I'm not sure that their opinion really matters.

In any case, the Art-o-matic complex is located right next to the Oliver House at 201 Morris St in Toledo, OH 43604.

Also of note, and playing today is Gabe Beam.  He plays at 3:00 at Art-o-matic, and will also be playing later tonight at Mickey Finn's.  They're sure to be interesting, so if you get a chance, check them out.

P.S. if you happen to make it out to that Art-o-matic complex today, be sure to check out Bianca Marcia's space. She's doing a 12-hour performance installation today (from 11AM-11PM) that is sure to be something else. That is, something other than something that should be missed.

I'd like to thank all those hens who made it out to the show last night on 4-25. Especially, Ben, Andy, Gabe, Sarah, the lady from the Black Swamp Bead Company who was missing one of her front teeth, those acoustic guitar guys that played after me, the mysterious old man in the back row, and that guy who walked in and proceeded to make a big show of plugging his ears and making a face of pure disgust before turning around and leaving again. And a very very special thanks to Bianca for arranging for me to perform in her open slot--no pun intended.

Hope to see all the satches of the world at next week's performance. It'll be a real elemental whirlwind of magic.
