I love so much the faithfulness of our God.  He never ceases to amaze me with His mystery, how He hides things for us to discover with Him.  I love how He draws us into situations that seem impossible, causes us to depend upon His supernatural influence and then He provides everything we need as if it were no big deal.  His resources are unending.  His generosity in inexhaustible.  His joy is so great to give us every bit that we need. He delights in supplying the small things for us that seem so big at the time.

Peter found the coin in the fishes mouth to pay for their taxes.  This is what happened to me.

As some of you may know, songs of water has been in the midst of recording our new CD.  It's going great by the way and I can't wait to let everyone hear it.  However, we received a significant bill from one of the studios we are working with and honestly, we had already drained our current resources paying for other project related costs.
At the same time, our beloved tour van decided to break down on the side of the highway as few weeks ago.  The bill to pay for the van repairs came at the same time as the studio bill.
I looked in my personal music account and found a deep hollow well.  I looked in the band account and again a deep, empty well of nothing.  Both bills were becoming overdue.
So, I went to Papa in prayer.
I have done three CD's of my own at this point, and I have never gone in debt for either of them.  They all have supernatural stories attached to them of how finances came in from unexpected places just in the nick of time.  So here we go again right?  You'd think I would get used to it by now!  I prayed and asked the Lord to help.  I wanted to be integral and wanted to pay our bills on time, but I didn't exaggerate when I said there was nothing in the accounts.
So, with two days before the bill would be overdue, I waited and I prayed.
As I went to mail a few product orders, I found 3 checks to songs of water and a few hundred dollars in cash from a recent gig, that I didn't even know we had!  The total wasn't enough for all we needed, but it sure built my faith.  I began to thank the Lord for what He gave and continued to ask for the rest.  The very next day, we received another sum of money from a film company in the UK who used a song of ours in a documentary.   Again I thanked the Lord.  Still the amount wasn't enough.  I continued to pray.
Today I went to the post office and received a check to songs of water from a ministry who is using a few of our songs in a DVD.  This amount gave us all that we needed for both bills with enough left over for some of future costs we'll need.
The day before our bill was due, all the necessary amount came in.  I am so encouraged, so grateful, so excited to see again the favor and the support of our God.  He is so amazing.  I really, literally had no idea or other resource options for where this money could come from in such a short time.
I hope you are encouraged by this to pray for what you need.  He will stretch you and He will cause you to be dependent upon His resources, but He will also increase your faith to see His goodness come through again and again.
Coins in the fishes mouth.  Heaven is not in recession.

Thank you for sharing a wonderful testimony of our Father's faithfulness to His children.  We all need to hear and share these testimonies.  Indeed, Heaven in not in recession.
