So the hospital calls and tells me I need to attend a seminar before my surgery and to make sure my insurance will cover me.

Great I think this will go over easily enough and I'll start to get better.... but No! I called the insurance company and they say it doesn't matter if it's medically necessary they wont cover it. So I call the hospital back and they say the only other way is to pay $12,000 up front.

I don't have anywhere near that kind of money laying about. All I know is I have to get it somehow. So I guess I'll start my own fundraiser to fix me. I know people wont be inclined to go for that but I am not asking for anything for nothing. Just shop my store.... proceeds will go towards my surgery. You get something and I get to lessen my pain a bit....

What is the surgery for? Why did they deny it? I believe that you can appeal.
