Wasn't this done like 9 years ago in Bamboozled?  Well it was a message that was similar.

While I totally agree rap has become nothing more than a gold, diamond, and platinum promotional tool run by money hungry assholes.  I just don't like the fact they are in black face and being the "white" stereotypes from so long ago.

I like rap, I love it, but not most of the popular crap, Hurricane Chris is nothing more than slight amusement to me.  I love artists, and I stress the word artists, like Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko. They have true talent and are almost completely ignored, or have been ignored.  Their albums speak of personal hardships, relationships, they have silliness, they are poetic, political, and are complied of many different styles.   While MTV rap seems to lack even a hint of originality and the main topic is money.

I guess this is like me talking about being Rastafarian, it's really not my place.  They are movements which were created for a culture which many may not understand and both are poetic movements which are supposed to empower and bring those people with similar backgrounds together.

But it fucking annoys me that some how whenever a whitey says something even close to racist they get hate spewed at them, but making fun of whitey is ok.  You can call someone a "honky" on tv but "nigga" is censored.

So they may not be making fun of white people, but black face and watermelon are racist stereotypes that should not be hidden from culture, but definitely not be abused in such a manner.  You want to get your message out yes, but you could have done it with a bath tub of diamonds or some other money type satirical humor.  Plus it's not the white people who made the industry that way, it was greed from all races.

We should really reinforce the "all men were created equal thing"  teach that shit in schools at a young age.  Black, white, yellow, blue, or green it doesn't fucking matter.  Which is why EVERY race should be trying their hardest to eliminate racism and not let the wrong messages get sent out to people to reinforce stereotypes.

The video is funny, and I do agree with the message to an extent...I just wish it didn't ALWAYS have to come down to race.

And I might as well mention this fucking commercial that fucking reinforces idiotic goth stereotypes.

While I've never really considered myself gothic many others do, because I'm dark.  Most prefer "gothlick", haha, anyways since I've always be perceived as being goth, people automatically assumed I was a witch, satanist, lesbian, vampire, freakshow, drug addict, pretending it was Halloween all year round, ect.  I was even told I looked like the Predator once, which I actually took more as a compliment than an insult....Alien Love.<33  Anyways for these reasons I hate this commercial.

IT FUCKING IRRITATES ME EVERYTIME I SEE IT!

First of all, WTF is that bitch doing shopping at what looks to be a Hot Topic?  Secondly, Gordmans DOES NOT sell the same brands that Hot Topic sells, not once have I seen Lip Service or Tripp at Gordmans.  What pisses me off is the obviously poorly chosen actress to play the "goth" chick, the fact anyone is a dumb enough cunt to cut a t-shirt up is annoying too.  PISS ON YOU!
It's similar to those roommate goth kid commercials a few years ago.....

I've never understood how "Black History Month" was acceptable.  It should be EVERY MONTH!
