Allright! So Adrian already told you some of it so I will tell my version of the night and try not to repeat everything that she said!

So the night begins by Adrian picking up Heidi and I from our new house. Adrian and I had already shed a few tears seperately... due to the overstimulation of knowing that we were going to be seeing our heroes perform for the first time EVER! I am pretty sure that Mandy is the only one of the Belles that had ever seen them live before. Mandy actually had got to meet them the last time that AC/DC came through town on the Stiff Upper Lip tour with the previous line up for the Belles.

Besides getting to see them live for the first time we knew we would be MEETING our idols in just a few hours. We headed over to Julianne's house because that is where the PARTY BUS was picking us up! THANK YOU BRIAN VALENTINE! He was our knight in shining armor. We all piled on the bus with about 20 other people. There were coolers FULL of beer, booze, and food! We drank all the way to Tacoma... hoping that a little liquid courage would perhaps sooth our nerves. We were so excited! Everyone had the BIGGEST smiles on their faces!

We get to the Tacoma Dome and we ( the Belles) left the party  bus to go and meet our friend WADE. Now WADE was the man that made things happen. He met us out front with our BACKSTAGE PASSES! He told us that when we heard the cannons going off during FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK, that we should all gather together in preparation for going to meet the fellas.

The show was unbelievable and the lines for beer were even more unbelievable. It was everything that I ever thought it might be and more. They sounded perfect. They sounded like they did 15 yrs ago. All of them were on point and still had the same energy they always have had! It was such an inspiration to watch them LIVE. Not a dvd or video or  you tube clip. LIVE. It moved my soul. At times I felt like I was in study hall. Watching every move that Brain made and studying his antics with the crowd. Studying everything and figuring out how I can apply it to myself with the Belles. I had to slow my brain down and just stop and absorb. EFFING AWESOME.

After the show we all met up by the exit that they were continually trying to escort us out of... I think we had to point to our passes like 15 times and listen to the miscommunication of the security while tryting to follow their directions.... which were all different... heh heh

FINALLY IT WAS TIME

We were escorted up to a meeting room. It was small with some chairs and a table with beverages, wine, chips, and pretzels. There were about 10 other people there with us, including a big name producer (his name escapes me.. one of the other girls will have to fill it in) and Alan White's wife ( drummer of YES). We were all kind of standing around just waiting for the band.

IN WALKS BRIAN JOHNSON

He makes his rounds talking with the people he already knows and taking pictures and stuff. Then he looks over at us and was like "OH HELLO MY LITTLE HELL'S BELLES!" He came over and gave us all a hug and kiss on the cheek. We got to sit and talk with him for over 15 mn, maybe even 20. He said that he has been hearing about us all over the world and that it is always great reviews~ He said that his fans tell him that the Belles are the best tribute band to AC/DC that ever was. He asked us if there was a time down the road that we could meet up with them so that " him and the boys" could come out to a show and he would get up on stage with us and we would sing a duet! WHAT THE HELL?!!!!!!  He just looked at me and was like... " you wanna sing a duet? That would be brilliant cause it has never been done before! Could you imagine what Back in Black would sound like? Get ahold of my guy and we will set something up." I think we were all standing there with our mouths gaping open. Was this really happening?

I got to ask him what the hardest song on Back in Black is for him to sing, i just had to know.. I mean I knew mine and wanted to hear him say them

... 1. Shake a Leg  ( funny... me too)  and  2. Shoot to Thrill ( I FEEL YA BROTHER!)

I am in love with him. He is just as crass and foul mouthed as I am. He kept apologizing to me and I kept thinking in my head... if you only knew.

He was so kind and attentive. He was very giving and funny. The man had more jokes and one liners than most comedians. He was BRILLIANT. The next thing you now his body guard was telling him he needed to get going because the guys were on the bus waiting for him. He was escorted on to the elevator and then all of a sudden... SO WERE WE!

We were taken to a second room. It was the real greenroom. AC/DC's greenroom. Their clothing trunks were lining the walls and they had big couches and dinner and about 8 empty cigarrette packs on the table. Benson & Hedges from the UK. ( I took a pack)

And there sitting on the couch was Angus and Malcom. Both smoking and smiling and just hanging out. While Lisa and Adrain were talking with their heroes I took the opportunity to get Brian to sign my jacket and chat with him a little more. Mandy was taking some great pics of Lisa and Malcom.  They stayed for a bit and when we were getting ready to leave I thanked Malcom for letting us make money off of their music. Like Adrian mentioned he said he hoped that we wrote original music too. I assured him that we all had original music and that playing AC/DC actually allows us to put time and money into our original projects without having to have a 9-5 job. He smiled at that one.

Before the brothers left we snapped a few photos and they signed my jacket as well. They were exhausted and excused themselves. When they left Lisa fell to the floor. She had just met the man that inspred her to play music. Mandy collapsed on her and we all just sat around in shock. It was rad.

Then Lisa pointed out that Angus' boxers that he wore for the show were on the floor. Using the poster I had bought I picked them up and gave them to Adrian. Then I realized the Phil Rudd had left his drumming glove on the table so I threw it to Melodie. ( Cliff and Phil were M.I.A.)

That is about it. We got back on the party bus and reveled in our memories. Once the pics are uploaded we will share them with you guys!

IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING TIME OF MY LIFE. I am sure it is safe to say, ALL OF OUR LIVES.

Thank you to EVERYONE who made this dream of ours come true. It will be seared into our memories for all eternity!

Very cool experience you gals had with the guys. I saw them before the show for like 5 minutes, and I wasn't allowed to use my camera to get photos with them. They had a band photographer who took our photo and said they would "send it to me" via e-mail.

I'm a fairly new AC/DC fan, since my favorite band is Motley Crue. I know what you gals are feeling like. Although I'm not a musician(just a band promoter) but when I met all the guys of the Crue 3 years ago, it was amazing, jaw dropping to say the least. Can't wait to see your pics!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Those of us who have been long-time AC/DC fans appreciate it! (I saw my first AC/DC concert at the Tacoma Dome in 1983... it almost became a "Smoke on the Water" incident when someone shot a bottle rocket into the ceiling causing it to smolder. They were playing "House is on Fire", appropriately!)
