Nashville, TN (September 14, 2009) -- Richie Fields' latest single, "Losing You," is gaining ground at country radio, and his promotion team officially goes for adds today. Written by Music City hitmakers Gerald Smith (Collin Raye, Lorrie Morgan) and Wynn Varble (Brad Paisley, Darryl Worley), the song is the perfect showcase for Richie's distinctive baritone. The engaging power ballad is from Fields' upcoming CD, due in stores in 2010. The track issued to programmers in August via CDX (Vol. 480) and by direct download from www...airplaydirect...com/..richiefields.
Richie is the "Spotlight Featured Artist" in the debut issue of AirPlay Direct's new digital magazine, the Direct Buzz, and he is scheduled to film THE LEARNING CHANNEL'S new show, Backstage Pass, in Macon, Georgia this weekend. Fields isn't shy of the spotlight; he's been touring non-stop this summer, going as far west as Denver's famed Grizzly Rose and as far east as Ocean City, Maryland's Cowboyz Smokehouse & Saloon. Upcoming shows include Whiskey River (Macon, Georgia); The Cowboy Saloon (Laramie, Wyoming); Outlaws Saloon (Cheyenne, Wyoming); Cancun Cantina (Hanover, Maryland) and New Year's Eve at Cancun Cantina West (Hagerstown, Maryland).
