Dear music lover.

We have designed this as a 'rolling blog' that will be updated daily to pinpoint where next any *REBCO/mandrax* band can next be found in action.

We are also asking the bands to post updates, feedback, ticket news, line up changes etc.

So switch off EMPTV,  and DON'T STAY IN.

Ste/Reb

Yes, Davi it was almost a maximum showing for the label acts, and we came up with the idea of this 'rolling blog' to capture the vibe of that weekend.

Was amazed to see your 2 band show in Blackburn with the fine *S/F/S*, became a 9 band fest on the night!.

Loved the decor @ *The Clarry/Redcar*. a small but appreciate turnout. (Lots of BBD posters/flyers still around). Jay Smith *DEVIANT UK* still manged to bag the honours despite being many miles away in Leeds, when *D/E/D* did there cover of *access denied* the place went nuts.

*DEVIANT UK* return next week and when you are reading posters like 'the devil walks amongst us again', you know they have made a certain impression in those parts.

As expected, we had a superb night up in Burton on Trent at The Appleby last night! It's always a smaller than usual crowd up there because of it's out of the way location but the atmosphere is very friendly and the audience is always enthusiastic and up for a dance (even to us), the hosts Kevin & Julie are very hospitable and always do their best to look after you and in a great little venue.

Was great to meet the guys from The Ladder and enjoyed their set.
We enjoyed playing with label mates Flesh Eating Foundation again and was good to hear a lot of their new material live, we look forward to them joining us on our turf in London on June 28th at The Purple Turtle!
And Global Citizen? I can't speak for the others but i think i personally had my best performance of the year last night, the sound was pumping and right in my face, just how i like it as it always helps me push that little bit harder ....
Great night, great people .....
Thanks to Joanne and Keith who traveled a fair distance for the second time in a week to see us play ...

As our good mates Global Citizen have said, Burton was a more than pleasant experience. The venue continues to be amazingly positive and supportive of the scene.

I was impressed with The Ladder, for a band just started out on the live scene they pack an energetic EBM punch, uplifting and entirely enjoyable.

Global Citizen seethed, writhed and stomped through their insiduously dark and sultry set, a pleasure to behold once more.

Our set was fun for us, and seemed to hold the attention of the faithful Burton crowd. We're testing some new and in some cases marginally unfinished tracks out at the moment, it was useful and enjoyable to do so. More to come next weekend....

Stockton was a runaway success for us yesterday- the most enthusiastic and noisy crowd to date! Not that we expected any less -we seem to always get a warm welcome in the Northeast.

Also big thanks to Death Emitting Diode -great guys and really enjoyed seeing them live at last! Looking forward to the next time ;)

Crewe tomorrow! See Monochrome and Novus then

So Friday night was our home town date in Stafford, we were last on and ran over the curfew which caused issues. We also had to perform with one mic only, passing it back and forth beastie boys stylee. Still it was fun and we managed to shock offend and entertain, I think...
Saturday night was Mannville Arms, Bradford with Novus. Quite a cool pub, some friendly folks, a few faithful fans, and it was fun to play even with a few technical challenges. We held back on the blood too as we didn't wan't SarahJane slipping over ;-)

was good to play with Monochrome and Novus yesterday - new Novus material sounding promising-thanks to Novus for the nostalgic smell of cap guns with their pyrotechnics ;)
Also thanks to Tony and Peter for dancing to us.
Was fun despite the turnout- i think all bands did well -and thanks to Franka,Darren and John for having us again- hopefully we didn't dissapoint despite being a band member down last night.
Seemed that many people said we've really come on a lot lately -which is funny because we just think we're still us ;)
I'm suffering with a pulled muscle in my arm tonight thanks to lugging suitcases on and off the buses. Maybe we really are cursed -i must've really pissed some gypsy off recently haha.

big kudos to Novus UK and to Analogue Trash night  for thursday- it's probably been the best underground night i've been to in years in manchester!  For those who did not attend -you missed a lot of fun with 3 bands and a friendly unpretentious crowd.
Just waiting our time to play now ;)

After a quiet start at the Purple Turtle on Sunday, things really hotted up! Thankfully, a few people did turn up right from doors opening to catch Johnny Normal do his stuff and people started to drift in as Flesh Eating Foundation got further and further through their set and they ended up by the end of their set with a fairly decent, though pretty quiet but appreciative crowd! Really getting into these guys stuff now and loved their new track that they opened the set with! (The world evolves around you).
Once Natsumi Scarlett took to the stage it seemed that all of a sudden the venue was filled to the brim! Isn't it amazing how many people come out the woodwork just to see a little nudity??? ;o
She was AWESOME performing her 'geisha suicide' routine and totally got the venue up for the rest of the night!
From there on things just got better and better, The next band Maleficent had a healthy crowd down and did a fantastic set. The evening ran so smoothly that by the time Global Citizen took to the stage we were all 15 minutes ahead of schedule and so we still had a huge audience, loosing little to last train leavers! Natsumi Scarlett joined us and performed a strip, fittingly perhaps to our opening number Naughty Naked Nude, once again wowing the crowd and then left us to rock the house down for the rest of our set to a very appreciative audience!
The whole night was a success beyond everyones expectations for a Sunday and it being Glastonbury weekend and so a big thankyou to all performers AND the dj's who span some stella sets before, after and in between the live shows and a huge thankyou to all who came along to support the night! Wicked .....

dear rich *glad* to hear your bash @ the *purp-turt* went well, up against *glasters/the heat/apathy/credit crunch* etc. a big shout to the FEFers for kick starting the night and travelling beyond the call. That weekend they did the following...>Stafford>Newcastle>York>Camden>Stafford..... for the love of it, and not a lot of money.
