It’s a sad affair when we lose a man like Neil Aspinall, even sadder when you think of that man as a friend. Neil was always good to Badfinger, he gave us something to believe in and we all trusted him. He treated us and our band with respect, even while managing the biggest band in the world he had time for us and tried hard to keep our songs in the Apple catalog active. It was Neil who suggested the name " Badfinger ". He used to let us watch Beatle concert films in his office at Savile Row,he knew what a turn on that was for us, and that’s why he would do it.
I saw him last at the Concert for Bangla Desh re-release event in Los Angeles, 2006. He was the same as always, friendly, interested, concerned, up for a laugh, watchful, and attentive. I said goodbye to him that night. He was a man who took his obligations seriously and kept his friends close. We shall all miss Neil Aspinall

Joey -

Beautiful thoughts regarding Neil. I never had the chance to meet him, but he seemed genuinely warm & sincere in all of the interviews I saw of him.
Most all of the news has been about his involvement with The Beatles, so it's very nice for you to set the record straight about what he did for Badfinger.
Our thoughts, prayers & sympathies are with you, your family, Neils, family and the large extended family of Beatle fans everywhere.

That was awesome and straight from the heart Joey, as only you could put it. And who better to write such a beautiful eulogy. Yes, I agree, he was a wonderful human being.

Joey,

Those were truly wonderful words from an awesome man for another truly awesome man, Neil Aspinall. From all that I've read and heard about you over the years from being a fan of yours, you've always been a kind, humorous, and humble man to your fans and I'm sure Neil was VERY proud of you and Badfinger. You're an incredible musician and you're a part of the BEST era of Rock-n-Roll history. You and Badfinger worked so hard and sadly went through so much yet you stayed strong and never gave up. My wife and I love listening to your solo material and of course Badfinger. We love watching you on Youtube too and cranking the speakers up...please don't stop! Badfinger's music has come full-circle again and a whole new generation hears Badfinger's music in movies and recently re-recorded by music stars such as Def Leppard and Rod Stewart. Just wanted to let you know that you're a true legend and we're sorry about Neil Aspinall's passing.

Thanks for sharing your memories of Neil. I knew who he was but never had the pleasure of meeting him. It is nice in this business to her about the people who are trustworthy and build strong relationships with his friends and artists. It is something that just does not happen enough in the music business.

Take care and I send off a prayer of best wishes for Neil and his family and friends.

I met you and Tom Evans many years ago at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco - Tony Kaye was playing keys for you back then - I remember it as if it were yesterday. Life is a collection of memories - as long as those memories stay intact so does the life and experiences they represent - for this reason we should cherish every moment and know that the passing of loved ones, though painful and sometimes inexplicable, is the moment we stop adding to the memories - but 'they' never truly leave us, they are within us, always. Best wishes and deepest condolences for you Joey in these difficult times.

Just thinking outloud, as no request was made for an opinion, but it seems that life is full of sorrows, loss, and grief, and yet from those experiences, some folks find poetry, and inspiration for music, Feed the music Joey, and put sorrows behind you, FEED the music, it will repair the soul, keep in mind what I said about K, I've been there too!
