PR RELEASE:

Whiskey flavoured rhythm, Smoke charred riffs, Scarlet painted lyrics, best kept outside of the box.  This is music for the transmental. With a sound similar to Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Tool, and something all their own, the band Afterdawn from New York will perform in Harrisburg's Millenium Music Conference XIII on Friday 2/13, and in Philadelphia on Saturday 2/14.

Afterdawn recently won Supernova’s “Out of the Garage” series in Brooklyn and placed 4th in the National Finals.  Their song "Top Of Occasions" (from their 2008 EP, BREAK.) has been featured on Sinister Music's "Screaming To Be Heard" compilation CD (distributed in last year's Warped Tour), as well as Femme Metal's latest compilation, "Ferocity & Femininity" celebrating what they consider to be the top 15 unsigned female-fronted metal bands in the world.

Members include Corynne Wilder on vocals, Steve Solution on guitar, Matt Kaskela on bass, and drummer Troy Young. Their latest album, "BREAK." is for sale at live shows and on CDBABY.
