All vocals and guitar leads were succesfully tracked yesterday. We even finished rather early, so there was plenty of time to relax and prepare ourselves mentally for the stressful two day mixing sessions ahead. That is, get some beers and talk shit at the flat where we're staying and then head out to see Jarkko Martikainen's acoustic solo gig at a nearby pub/club (he was absolutely great, by the way). Responsible grown ups that we are, most of us stayed there until around 3am. Of course, there's no way you can go to bed around 3am and be ready for the mixing in the morning, so we decided to go get some pizza and had to come back to the studio and listen to the tracks few times - really, really loud (the studio is, how conveniently, in the basement of an apartment house).

At this point, two of us had already been sleeping for a few hours at our flat, so we decided to storm in making loud puking noises. Why sleep at 5am when you can stay up? Rather soon though it turned out we're all bunch of quitters and decided to get some sleep. Five hours later it was perfect time to get up. We just arrived at the studio, it's noon, and we've got a good two days for mixing.
