Earl Austin's "You Might Need a Jacket" is a good conversational generator of universal appeal of parenting and a gauge on societal tolerance obtusity in behavior. It's an interesting and light-hearted read. It is a sad but true commentary on the imbalance of the "rose-colored" glasses through which affection paints life. It is a precautionary stage and notification that temperance may be a virtue worthy of a greater investment of our time and attention.
