Well,  as alot of you may know, our bass player James Wood has gone off to do his own thing with his Blues band, the Blind Ducks. Best of  Luck to him...I really mean that. I'm kinda taking it a bit on the chin, not cause of his playing.. although he's an exellent bass player, but exellent bass players  well , I know quite a few, I'm lucky I guess in that way... ( actually I happen to know just a lot of really EXeLLENT musicians in General..) .but more cause James is a real friend, and we've had alot of really good times together with the band. It's kinda like a friend moving off to another state, you say " yeah we'll write , we'll get together again soon, but you know you won't... oh well... Good Luck James, Maria, Billy and Pat... and the Ducks.. I'm glad I had a small hand in getting you and Maria together...

Now onto brighter news....
We've got 3 different Exellent bass players we're trying out, we've already had a great bassman Randy Moon play with us last week at the O-Zone in Oakland TN, and I can't say enough good about him. He's been playing with Bruce, our lead Axeman for over 17 years and he's known him longer, so can't go wrong there, he KNOWS his way around a bass....
This week we're lucky enough to have "FUBAR" play at the Rally Point with us..
( Yep.. FUBAR... write in your own acronym..) Fubar sat in with us a couple of weeks ago at the Hog Head Saloon and we had a great time.. again, another exellent bass player who really kept the bottom end moving... tonight aught to be fun!
And then next week we've got a Bass player with over 35 years experience pro and just for fun, Jim Nolen. Jim's been playing around the Midsouth pro in practically every venue in the midsouth. We're really lucky to have him interested in us. He'll be playing with us next week at Errol's Sports bar in Millington...

It's gonna be a tough decision to make, but it's a great position to be in...
