Summer is here and it is time for church camp.  I love camp and it was where I first began my relationship with Christ.  This will be my third year to direct summer camp and I truly enjoy seeing students connect with the risen Christ.  Each year students join other students for encouragement, accountability and fun.  Camp is a place for students to step away from their regular routines and participate with other students in a weeklong adventure.  I have witnessed many hearts soften and receive the love and acceptance that God offers them.  During camp, students have the opportunity to serve the community, hone a potential spiritual gift, worship with friends and be mentored by an adult.  I believe in summer camp and hope that you will be encouraged to take part in this event with me and with many others.  If you need information, please call the church office or visit www.okchog.org and click on the tab entitled "News Items."
