I don't know why u don't have unknown artists as well, especially since some us live and work on farms.

 

I don't know how 20 years of Farm Aid has not resulted in better endings for American farmers. Honestly, is not the idea of providing a regular aid benefit to have the benefit end - as the proceeds have been made? Farm Aid was started to help American Farmers from forelosure, and thus to decrease the loss of the "breadbasket of the world." Anymore, it provides limited aid to mismanaged fund accounts that continue to support USA subsidies that encourage the american farmer from plantiung - it is more profitible at times to leave the fields barren - even if simple wheat coul dbe grown.

Either subsidies have replaced the bottom line or food prices are not adequately measured by the American markets... I see grain in storage rotting, beans, "whole foods" just subsidized into rot instead of distribution. Empty farms with the farmer making money NOT to plant a crop... 20 Years. Great organization - but really - who is mismanaging the money??? Why the ROT, why not free distribution via funds from Farm Aid to the homeless in the USA - ECHO, WIC, etc.????

And I grew up in USA Farmland - the town is even named FARMINGTON.

..oh man, i am always the person who is right NEXT to the person they show on videos. Even last year we were in the third row and they never showed us. the guy behind us, the guys next to us, but not us. same with randalls island the year before. i think my husband and i have a magnetic bubble around us that deflects camera rays.....boo hoo.
how i wish i could go this year. i will miss you guys so much. you don't know how much will power it takes not to spend my last 500 bucks to get there. i've fallen in love with all of you, you are the kindest people, and you are all the good people. i also love non plastic heroic people you all attract. the hard working people who are givers, not greedmongers. have fun this year. stay healthy. i'll pray for you all.

you and j0hn mellencamp and others have sure done some fine things 2 try and help others, if i remember right you got involved when you were having a littlle trouble with the irs  which i guess made you feel even better 2 be able to help while going through sum personal trib-yoy-lay-shunz. i see you have a contest to spend some time with you ..i an't lucky sew i won't bother entering.. but if you ever wanted to just invite me i would love to the master at work lol.  keith
