This weekend the Foster Kids will be polishing up the chrome on their Lambrettas and heading down to Brighton to beat up some greasy Rockers and smashing their Gene Vincent records....oh no hang on that was the May bank Holiday!
"I cried when all the Italians got shot", that's what I would tell Louis De Bernieres if I was going to watch him play his mandolin in Harleston on Thursday but I am not because dance lessons are more important. I will be in Harleston this Saturday afternoon as will the rest of the Kids playing our now traditional slot at the Swan Hotel as part of the internationally renowned Harleston festival, we might even have a sixth member for a song or two.
On Sunday afternoon we will be in Hockwold watching F-15 eagles from Lakenheath soar overhead as we take our show to the New Inn, we don't really know a lot about this show but for those who watched Gryf Rhys Jones show about rivers last night it is near or situated in the scenic fens, number one in the national suicide chart I once heard, the fens that is not Hockwold.

See you all there

Ian Foster Kid

Nick, I was going to put a very obscure album on here today but the feature wasn't working.

...and very good the sixth member was.

How did Hockwold go?

I was picturing Harvey Averne's 1971 classic 'The Harvey Averne Barrio Band'

Genuinely obsure and undeniably brilliant.
