CBR TV: Todd McFarlane

In this exclusive on-camera interview with CBR TV, legendary Spawn creator Todd McFarlane talks about his long-awaited return to the title he created in the 1990s with this week's "Spawn" 185, which comes with a shocking and dark plot twist that has fans reeling and even wayward Spawn readers taking another look at the flagship Image Comics book.

In his inimitable fashion, McFarlane addresses the concerns of those who may think his work is too grim, and also teases his plans for "Spawn's" upcoming 200th issue.

Awesome interview...so there's a possibility that Al Simmons dies for real now and a new Hellspawn will take the curse. Thanks Todd for this new take on your baby!

New artwork coming very soon!

Todd is such a visionary. The comic industry has needed this breath of fresh air for a long time and once again its Todd McFarlane to the rescue. I also like how he's basing the future on what the fans want. Unlike other companies who refuse to admit that they messed up and refuse to listen to the fans even going so far as to say they'll tell the fans whats good. McFarlane=gold in comic books and we as fans trust his judgements so I say lets go for the ride!

Oh yeah, he is definitely one of the greatest comic illustrators of all time. I've always admired his work as a comic artist. His details in his character is pure perfection. "Spawn" is an occult classic comic book, and this is a well done interview.
