Friday: Straight from work to Lübeck airport - noah grain for the first time on a plane together - Olga Tuschkasta - from the airport through stones and along red houses (Stefan explained why there are so many rocks and why the houses are red (the swedish people paint the houses with the blood of there dead ancestors - right!) - drove into stockholm - trafficjam, parts of the town looked like backdrops used in METROPOLIS - we feel at home - central station - looking for the right train to Skarmarbrink - went up and down stairways, through crowded, crowded halls, tunnels and finally bought tickets for the "tunnelbana" - André saved us from getting lost arrived at Tinas and Andrés place and i got glued to the CD-collection - Andy and Tina 2 ("No More") arrived and we had a fun, fun evening together joined by Maria and Eric - beer, sparkling wine and a lot of electronic synthpoppy music - we went to bed laughing
Saturday: awoke late and laughing (again) - Stefan woke me up singing the "Flipper-Melodie" and i joined - sadly he ment to sing "At the Copa Cabana" so we got lost in the middle of the tune somehow - had a long, looooong breakfast - (horsmeat anyone?) - discovered "Kalle-Fish-Paste" - off to the soundcheck at Sugarbar - in sweden they have apples (in foil), chewinggum and condoms in one automat at the trainstation - all you need for a healthy life - while "No More" were soundchecking i snuck out of the club and went to the nearest supermarket - somehow i feel safe in supermarkets (lost in a supermarket anyone? not me!) - found Pucka and chocolatebars - happy! - met alot of nice, friendly, funny people (krister, diana taking great photos, joachim, ricardo from dupont, anton, sven...) - seems like everybody who has been there is playing in a band - played a great gig in front of great, frendly, clapping, dancing and screaming people - "No More" where charismatic and played a phantasitc gig - danced to The Cure, Fad Gadget, Depeche Mode, Rational Youth and stuff (you get the picture) - went home - went to bed laughing at 5 in the morning
Sunday: awoke even later - one more breakfast in the sun - into the city - onto a mountain - along with a gathering of hippies - down to the water (little fish big fish - swimming in the water - come back here man - gimme my daughter) - looked for "Kalle" Fish/Banana Creme but we couldn't find it - later we heard they didn't pruduce it anymore because of poor sales - who would have thought - but i found Fish/Cheese Paste and Cheese Port Wine Creme instead - happy - had great dinner at "Sidewalking" where Siouxsie and Debbie Harry kept an eye on me, to see if i finished my plate - Stefan ate Köttbullar - "Wat de Buer nie kennt, freet hey nie" - Björk and Jarvis Cocker weren't far away - went over the street straight into "Berlin"-Bar - beer, great music, ein Koffer in Berlin und der passende Himmel darüber dazu - Einstürzende Neubauten and Thåström - on our way home we found an open shop and i bought some chokolade cakes - more happy.
