A native of Southside Chicago, but raised on the infamous streets of East Durham, Jozeemo the 29-year-old emcee hit the airwaves via K97.5 on an emcee battle, 13 weeks later he retired an undefeated CHAMPION.  Jozee came on the scene and made strong impact with fiery flow and clever wordplay, but a run in with the law almost prevented all of that.

Jozeemo has amounted many collaborations, but his first commercial retail release would be his features on The Hall of Justus album "Soldiers of Fortune". Jozee would find himself on four tracks, two featuring the likes of Rapper Big Pooh and Sean Price, these appearances would set him apart from others who claim to be rappers and put him in a position to make a career as an emcee. Jozee's next collaborations would put him in an elite circle of respected rhymesayers. With appearances on 9^th Wonder's "Dream Merchant 2", which will be released Oct. 9^th features Jozee on the 12" bonus with "Ya Hear Me" and on the cd with the cut "It Aint Over" and also on Little Brother's third album "Getback" which will be released Oct. 23^rd where he and Lil Wayne are the only rap features.

Jozee, now a full fledged musician with several releases under his belt has just completed the mixtape "Cry Now L.A.F Later" with southern mix tape mastermind DJ Chuck T. This highly anticipated cd buzzed so much that Michael Prommer's Defend Music took notice and wanted to get involved, this is what he had to say:

"The mixtape hit New York and I knew he had something, Jozee is a bonafied street artist and we want to take his life story to the rest of the nation!"

November 20^th will mark the day when Jozee will release his debut retail project "Cry Now L.A.F. Later" via HOJ/Defend Music. With moves like these and positive business minded people guiding him Jozeemo could be around for a very long time so get used to it.
