I've seen that before, Pete, and I, for one, am glad for you but I do not trust a top with Lake one seat above you and Hackett on 10 of 10.......

Absolutely, they should! Peter Banks is one of the best guitarists, and Gibsons are the best guitars, so it makes sense to me!............-- John C.

I would have left out Greg Lake and put Gentle Giants Gary Green in his place. Other then that pretty standard. Nice to see you getting some acknowledgment.

You are not only one of the best guitarists but also one of the best composers. Yesterday I was listening to "Selfcontained" album.
It is one of your best works!

Congratulations a well deserved honor. Although the list must be random and not in order of talent or you would have been number one.

Congratulations Pete! That is a great list indeed, and I'm so glad that Gibson compiled it and not some quasi-music rag like Rolling Stone, Spin, NME, or Melody Maker. ............Now, about that Gibson Pete Banks signature model...

Very deserved, Peter, and you are in good company on this list. Like Edi below, I question the inclusion of Lake, who would better stand as one of prog's greatest singer/songwriters ... I guess they wanted to somehow make sure Gibson was connected to EL&P given the band's stature within 70's prog. Maybe a better choice would have been Gary Green of Gentle Giant, a band that I still consider one of the greatest of all time that sadly never got the recognition they deserved.
