So it all started on wednesday. I arrived in Vegas, checked into my room at the Palazzo (which had a STUNNING view of the strip, by the way) and got ready to start the crazy fun time that was about to begin. First up, a dinner with all of our crew, New Sensations, Wicked, 3rd Degree, and Zero Tolerance. All of us are like family, and joining us were are wonderful clients and customers from Adam and Eve, and a few others. It was SO nice to see everyone and meet the ones I haven't gotten the chance to meet yet. We shared a big, yummy, conversation and fun filled dinner, then it was off to the bowling alley. It was one of the coolest bowling alleys I've ever seen. Open bar, snacks, and a ball throwin' good time. I hadn't been bowling in forever, and I really love to bowl, so it was a very exciting night for all of us. After that, we headed over to LAX night club at Luxor. We kicked it there for a little while, but I think we were all so tired from bowling that we decided to go back the hotel. The plan was to call it a night, but as always, the circle bar was in full force so I made my rounds and saw some people I really wanted to see.. and a couple I might not have been too excited about. ANYWAY, the next day was the first day of the show so I had to try to get a little rest.
Thursday was the first day, but it was an industry day only... so there was more seeing people that I haven't seen in forever, and I loved that. AVN is a nice time of the year for catching up with the folks I don't get to see all that often. I signed that day at the Fyre TV booth with my fellow contract girl, Sadie West. The Fyre booth was by far the coolest one on the floor. It had big couches, big flat screens to watch your favorite flicks on, dancer poles WITH dancers, pole dancing competions, live performances and a fully equipt stage. So much fun!That night was yet another party with the clients filled with eating and drinking and having a good old time.
Friday was the second day, but the first for the fans to come in and see all the action. And it was really good to see all of you, for the first time and again. Again, I signed at the Fyre booth with my girl Sadie, and it was good times. That night was our private party in the Hardwood Floor Suite in the Palms. I've been there once before. That room is AMAZING. I danced it up a little bit and called it an early night. The next day was the big one.
Honestly, I don't remember much about saturday, I know I signed a little bit, ate even less, and was totally blinded by excitement and anticipation for the award show that evening. I looked so good that night, if I do say so myself! My dress was so hott. My girl Kelsi helped me pick it out, and my hair and makeup (done by the wonderful Rosalinda) was flawless! I was feeling very confident on that red carpet. The show opened with an awesome performance by FLO RIDA and special guest T Pain. Huge fan of both those guys. Everyone was pumped from there show, and my award catagory was the first to be announced. I couldn't breath. And then when they called MyPlaything Ashlynn Brooke as the winner of Best Interactive DVD, I honestly didn't think I was going to be able to keep my composure. I was so proud of that movie, and to win for it was just all I could ever ask for really. So that set my mood pretty high for the rest of the night. I also won for the Ashlynn Goes to College series, for Best New Series, and Best Continuing Series. I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. I had a few other nominations I was incredibly honored for, and this show has been the best for me so far. That night was in big need of celebration, so we kicked it up at a couple of clubs that night... and had ourselves a good old time.
Sunday was bitter sweet. I was so sad that it was all over, but glad to get back to life as normal. I'll be posting the pictures very soon... you can also check it all out on avn.com.
