We will be working on this story at CheerN.com

Two Hamilton Tiger-Cats cheerleaders remain under suspension by the club after they appeared on Howard Stern's satellite radio program last week, a visit that included frank discussions of sexuality and a series of suggestive photographs that have been posted online.

Dressed in tiny pink shorts and short white shirts promoting an upcoming fitness exhibition in Toronto, Ashley Harrison and Deanna Garraway talked about oral sex, recoiled in apparent horror as a man exposed his penis and danced inside the infamous shock jock's studio.

"Howard mentioned the girls will be competing in a fitness competition in Toronto later this summer," according to an account on Stern's website (www.howardstern.com). "Because of this, Howard asked the girls if they'd demonstrate their dance moves, which they did to the song, 'Shake That Ass, Bitch.' After the dance, Howard noted the girls looked like they were strippers."

The website identified the women only as Canadian Football League cheerleaders. On Friday night, following Hamilton's pre-season win over Toronto, Ticat officials admitted both were part of Hamilton's cheerleading team.

Neither was on the sidelines Friday night. They have both been suspended pending an investigation. There is no timeline for a decision.

"The appearance was not club related but connected to outside interests of the individuals involved," the Ticats said in a media release. "The organization remains committed to our ongoing mandate of quality family entertainment. We fully support and have confidence and pride in Lesley Stewart (head coach) and the Ticats cheerleaders."

Harrison and Garraway were promoting FAME: Fitness And Model Expo, which begins Friday at the International Centre in Toronto.

Club officials looked mortified when news of the appearance began to leak out on Friday night. The Ticats removed several discussion threads from their own Web site over the weekend in an effort to quiet the growing curiosity.

Garraway's profile on FAME's website said she is "currently completing my master's degree."

"The team objectifies women by having female cheerleaders dressed in skimpy outfits," wrote one visitor to the team's site yesterday. "Not that I object to it, but I ask you, how is Howard Stern any different, other than by degree?"
