Hellooooo MySpacers........

I have a few bits of excitement coming up.

Monday, June 8th, 7:15pm - Los Angeles, CA

The film that I played a small supporting role in, Miss Ohio, is making its first festival appearance on Monday at the Dances With Films Festival in West Hollywood.  If you have Monday evening free and are interested in supporting independent cinema whilst being entertained for 84 minutes (part of it by me performing Christian folk songs that I actually wrote - a respectful ironic twist) then stop by the Sunset 5 movie theater.  It's quite an interesting and conversation provoking film and perhaps the most beautiful cinematic depiction of Chicago in the summertime you will ever see.

Saturday, June 13th, 3:00pm - Chicago, IL

I am making my first public appearance as a legitimate bass player.  I'm playing in my roommate's band, The Chris Bryan Trio, at Chicago's annual carnivorous street festival, Ribfest.  We're playing on the North stage at 3pm and we're followed by two fantastic bands of higher note than us: Wheat, who wrote the poptastic song, "I Met A Girl" that you have undoubtedly danced to while either getting ready or watching a teen romance flick sometime between 03 and 05, and Margot & The Nuclear So and So's, contemporary indie folk-rock darlings that you probably saw on Conan O'Brien before he traded up.

If you're planning on attending the first major indication that summer has arrived in Chicago, I suggest that you do it around 3pm on Saturday.  It's going to be rad.

Thursday, June 18th, 10:45pm - Chicago, IL

I am playing a showcase at Chicago's 13th annual MOBfest music festival.  MOBfest (Music Over Business festival) takes over many of the city's top venues for three days every summer to showcase local and national talent to music industry representatives from independent and major labels.  I'm in the singer/songwriter showcase at McDunna's on opening night and I'll be playing with my current supporting players: Sarah Goldstein (vocals, percussion) and Drew Pampano (Electric Guitar.)  We're going to have fun and we'd like you to have fun with us.
