Andrew Hyde became a reality television star after appearing on season 3 with his dad. An avid traveller since childhood, he's travelled the United States as a competitive cheerleader/dancer eventually becoming an International Champion. Since appearing on The Amazing Race he has appeared in several films, stage plays, talk shows and also spoken at GLBT events such as New York City Pride.
For the past four years Andrew has been focusing on HIV/AIDS Prevention Education but still slips out of the office to perfect his travelling skills.
His passion and interest in travel attracted the attention of reFRESH Editor-in-Chief David Tickner who was looking to strengthen the coverage of US destinations in the magazine. David commented, "With his enthusiasm and energy and fresh faced appeal, Andrew will be a welcome new addition to our writing team. He will be providing us with the inside scoop on the best hidden delights the United States has to offer."
Andrew lives in Dayton, Ohio and joins the reFRESH team as U.S. Travel Correspondent. His first Hidden Delights feature appears in the issue of reFRESH publishing in April.
