As you may know by now the Fabulous Firwood in Fife has met with a devastating fire early this morning and we are absolutely in shock! The Firwood has been a landmark in Fife for well over 80 years. It has been a supporter of live music and a place for everyone to have fun. To see it gone in an instant is nearly unbearable!

We would like to send our condolences to Hyon and his family for the loss of such a great establishment and for all the hard work, heart and soul they put into making it such a great place to be for everyone!

 The Firwood will not be forgotten!

Im so sorry guys. Thats terrible. I didnt know about it til I read your blog, I skipped the morning news today. Ive never been there but I know you played there a lot. I hope the owners have some insurance and maybe you guys and some other regular bands and patrons could set up a fund to help rebuild it. A place like that, should be rebuilt I think. Anyway, again guys Im sorry for the loss.

I'm in Utah right now...got a text telling me about the fire...I loved that place even though we don't get up north much we were looking forward to seeing you guys there soon......guess there is a change in plans for us....we will see you soon...

I have to agree with Jenn(even though I don't know her). Although I have never been there (I have heard people talk about it) it sounds like a great place. I think a benefit show would be an awesome idea.
I'm sure there are tons of people who would support it!

The Firwood will never be forgotten, everyone knows someone who went there and saw" a really great band "over the years. It held memories for many, young and old. It may be gone but never forgotten.
