Hey, look! I am writing another Myspace blog! OMG! ROLF! No really, I guess it's about time I wrote something. All kinds of crap has been going on in my life and now that everything is all lollipops and gumdrops, I don't feel the need to write blog entries for some reason. It's like how you don't feel like going to see a shrink if there's nothing troubling you. Or something.

This blog is purely a shameless plug for my new food blog (I'm an official, multiple-blog loser) that I started the other day called Tastetastical(picking a blog name is hard these days, as most of them are taken). I like that word, however - tastetastical - as it seems to ring loudly of the fantastic, magical nature of all the food I eat.

Well, except for whatever gave me food poisoning/stomach flu the other day. That was wholly UNmagical.

For those of you who don't know, I cook a lot, I like to eat a lot of weird foods, and I'm also a vegetarian (with largely vegan tendancies) and sometimes it becomes hard to find places that serve my dietary needs in this city, or any other city for that matter. I figure that at very least, since BrooklynVegan is a blog about music and not about vegan food in brooklyn, as I had once though, maybe I'll be the one to write about all the awesome vegetarian places to nosh in the nabe (short for "neighborhood"...did that work for you? That's how professional bloggers write, right?).

If you're going to eat out somewhere, you might as well tell others about it and pay attention to what you're eating while you're at it. Half the enjoyment of putting food in your mouth is savoring all of its characteristics. And as for all the things I make from scratch that my friends are always raving about, I thought a food blog would be almost like my own little recipe book, so when I want to remember how I made that vegan meatloaf I whipped up a few months ago, the directions will be right there for me. It will also force me to pay attention to how I make things so I can write a recipe and actually share it with others. Whoopiedeedoo.

Anyway, in the meantime you should read it and tell all your friends or something.  Or you should do whatever you want.

You're a grown up. You can make your own decisions.
