Photo Contest
Theme: Photos that represent something new. It could be a baby, a budding flower, a shiny new car. Just make sure it represents "new." This contest is partly in celebration of our shiny-new site. 
(Cheesy, I know.)
Rules:
*Any winners that have won in the last year may not participate in these photo contests. You may, however, participate in the background image contests every month. You may still vote. (This rule does not apply to this contest as we have erased all past contests and are starting over.)
*You may only submit 2 photos.
*Send your submission through MySpace or to velvet_rose@hotmail.com. If your submission is emailed, please include your MySpace URL so we can find you.
*Please include how you would like to be credited if your photo is chosen the winner (i.e. Photo by mywebsite.com or My Company, Inc.)
*Please size your photos to no larger than 500 pixels on the longest side. If you don't/can't resize, please be aware that it will be done for you.
*Watermarking is ok, but please keep it to a minimum.
*Submissions are due by Oct. 4, 2007. Voting will begin on Oct. 5, 2007 when the voting blog opens.
*Nudity must be censored due to MySpace rules. No violent or offensive photos will be accepted.
*DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO AS A COMMENT. Any photos incorrectly submitted will not be considered for the contest unless you resubmit properly. Post any questions as a comment so others may view the answer.
*By submitting your photo, you are giving us permission to post your photo and you are claiming that you are the photographer.
Please note that negativity will not be tolerated. Only one warning will be issued to an offender before being blocked from this site.
Rules are always subject to change.
Grand Prize:
The winner will:
-have their photo as the default photo for the month until the next winner has been chosen.
-receive a badge for their website declaring them the winner.
-be interviewed by us and it will be displayed on the front page with samples of their work.
