"Macro Holiday"
Default Image Photo Contest
***I apologize again for the short submission time.***
Theme: Photos that represent the Holidays or the season in macro. It can be anything from Santa to Religious to winter, but it must be a macro shot. If you are unfamiliar with the term, click here to see example of a "macro" shot.
Rules:
*Any winners that have won this "default photo" contest in the last year may not participate in these photo contests until the year has passed. (You may, however, still participate in the "background image" contests every month and winning the "backgound image" contest does not exclude you from this one.) You may still vote.
*You may only submit 1 photo.
*Send your submission through MySpace or to velvet_rose@hotmail.com with "Macro Holiday Photo Contest" in the subject line. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours after submitting your photo, please resubmit in case is was not received.

*No size limit.
*Watermarking is ok, but please keep it to a minimum.
*Submissions are due by Dec. 6, 2007. Voting will begin on Dec. 7, 2007 when the voting blog opens.
*Nudity must be censored due to MySpace rules. No violent or offensive photos will be accepted.
*DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO AS A COMMENT. Any photos incorrectly submitted will not be considered for the contest unless you resubmit properly. Post any questions as a comment so others may view the answer.
*By submitting your photo, you are giving us permission to post your photo and you are claiming that you are the photographer.
Please note that negativity will not be tolerated. Only one warning will be issued to an offender before being blocked from this site.
Rules are always subject to change.
Grand Prize:
The winner will:
-have their photo as the default photo for the month until the next winner has been chosen.
-receive a badge for their website declaring them the winner.
-be interviewed by us and it will be displayed on the front page with samples of their work.
