A member needs some advice:

"I recently invested quite a lot of money into my camera, flash, and lens. My question is what type of insurance do any of you carry on your camera equipment? Where do you get it and approximately how much is it? I have no clue who to call or what to even ask for. Thanks for all your help."

You want to get inland/Marine insurance. It depends on how much you want to cover. I have approx. 15K of coverage and it runs me around $350 a year and that is through State Farm. If you belong to PPA they have a company that can insure equipment also. I checked their prices and they were comparable. Call your agent and get a quote. You will need to list all equipment, value, and serial numbers. Hope this helps.
Best,
Dave
