Yesterday, .. found out that an amaz..ng person was shot and k..lled due to v..olence on Thursday, June 28. He played ball for the Howard Un..vers..ty B..sons and everyone qu..ckly knew h..s name by the t..me freshman year was over. ..n recent years, he was one of the most sought off secur..ty guys ..n DC.

Th..s person had a heart of gold, a sm..le that could l..ght up a room and an ..nfect..ous personal..ty. He was my fr..end, my conf..dante (some days) and always good to see. He could cook h..s azz off and hosted many Sunday Brunches to prove ..t. Unfortunately, .. never made ..t to the few he d..d have and all that to say l..fe ..s too short. ..f your fr..ends ..nv..te you to someth..ng, go, ..f they call, l..sten, even when you don't want to because you w..ll never know when you w..ll hear the..r last laugh, last joke, or be able to reach out and g..ve them a pound. The whole c..ty had a b..t of a shroud on ..t ..n every club that has has the pleasure of work..ng w..th h..m. Those who knew h..m, loved h..m and those who met h..m once, loved h..m even more.
