Friends,

I am thrilled to announce the opening of my new bar SAINT FELIX.

If you are wondering why you haven't spotted me at your local Spearmint Rhino tipping garters or closing down your local Cahuenga Blvd. watering hole, this is why...

With a few Legos & fairy dust, my buddies Jay Krymis, Christian, & I have opened a new bar/restaurant in West Hollywood.

Since my life right now is only bar & Silver Needle, I would love to see each of you & catch up.  Spread the word if I missed a few mutual friends we share.

We will be doing free infusion shots & food tray passing.  No need to RSVP, just put on a smile, strap yourself in & let's Roll! - J99

ST. FELIX

8945 Santa Monica Blvd.

West Hollywood, CA 90069

IGNITION - Thursday, June 19th - 2008 AD

7pm until the witching hour.

St. Felix a bar concept from Jay Krymis (Fubar, Sixty Six), Christian Leibfried (Mother Tongue), & John Arakaki aka

Johnny 99 (Silver Needle, Kiss or Kill Club) fuse together a

Molotov cocktail of gourmet appetizers fueled by infused

vodka and tequila, topped off with signature drinks administered

by a friendly energetic staff taking a mixed environment to a new level in the West Hollywood Community.

This intimate venue has a sexy, warm, bordello style vibe

complimented by a street patio scene that revels in the street energy of Santa Monica Blvd.

Executive Chef Brian Vacarella (Edison) created a food menu with a tapas style presentation to encourage social interaction in the dining experience. Featured items include the Bleu Salad that combines blueberries with Maytag bleu cheese, candied walnuts, Wild Arugula, Roasted Pepper, tossed with a Champagne Shallot Vinaigrette, the Kobe beef sliders spare no limitations on taste, paired with grilled onions, smoked bacon, & homemade pickles this is all ready a favorite amongst the returning guests, the Shrimp Six Shooters are highlighted by an array of shots ranging from a Mojito to a Bloody Mary to a Mango Ginger Margarita.

The bar selection stems from the low brow hanging with

the high brow, but that's how we ball.  Our friends around the bar include Dom Perginon, hanging with Billy Dee's favorite - chilled forty's of Colt 45.  St. Felix features signature drinks like the Saint Felix Raspberry Mojtio with fresh lime, freshly squeezed lime juice, topped with a sugarcane garnish.   Grandma Dolores's Red Sangaria recipe severed in mason jars or available by the pitcher, and classic standards such as the Mint Julip served over crushed ice.  Up around the bend is the venue's specialty. Infused

Vodkas and Tequila's joined at the hip with fresh organic fruit. Try the Orange & Pineapple Vodka infusion if you are swinging for the fences.

The decor has a rock and roll influence set to an east coast ambience. This is truely a new chapter in WeHo nightlife.

The layout is set with sleek black leather style booths against a brick wall.  The highlights include a fishnet stocking leg lamp, a velvet elvis painting, an oversized white leather alligator style couch & adorned on the top shelf is  a bottle of Habu Sake with a snake at the bottom smuggled from Okinawa, Japan that is fabled to help with your virility.

The attention to detail is unparallel, but the bottom line is check your inhibition at the door and grab a cocktail.  Carpe Nocturum.

...my friends say i look better WITHOUT you
