Here's another update, this time it's of the day we played at SXSW itself. The show was decent, although many things could have been better, but the whole experience of the day was a great lesson for us all!

We spent the early part of the day preparing for the show, and then in the later part it was all about driving over, hauling our gear around, setting up the backline, and sending them all back to our hotel before we could enjoy the rest of the acts. Tiring!

The venue where we played our show: Karma Lounge. Unfortunately there, we had a terrible stage manager who didn't know what he was doing and wasn't very helpful.

Selling our merch at the show, we have got our new single "Nosferatu Makes Me Nervous" 7" single now out!

After our set and after driving back to the hotel to send our gear back, we all split up again to catch the acts we wanted to. Between us, we caught the black metal band Wolves In The Throne Room (amazing stuff!), Cursive, Wino, the last bits of Black Cobra from the Southern Lord showcase, and more!

Here's us catching Pelican live!

After this, it's Houston for the next update, so we will be updating you on that experience soon! Later folks!

yo bro

yeah man, anywhere you play in the US, bands need to rent your own backline, so we got eveything. of cos at SXSW, you have to pay an extreme premium for gear.
