With the new lineup intact, we have all made an important decision…to change the name of the band. That's right, we have decided to KILL BILL! Quentin Tarantino will not be involved in this necessary mercenary killing but YOU can be part of wielding the sword, light saber, or axe to kill off the Bill Owens Five name for good! We want YOU, the FANS, to decide the new name of the band. And to make it a little more enticing, we are offering a prize too.

Here are the rules of the "Kill Bill Owens Five Band Name" Contest:

1.   Each person may submit (3) entries

2.   Deadline to submit entries is Saturday, January 31, 2009

3.   All entries must be submitted to killbillowensfive@gmail.com

4.   The winner will be announced to the public on Monday, February 9

5.   The winner of the contest will win a $150 bar tab, redeemable only at our   show* on Saturday, February 21, at the Bitter End in New York City.
