hey there interweb...this one's for the locals...so, we're starting pre-production for the video for "used to be", and we need some folks to act in it...the general is that we're gonna dress up the actors like punks, and then dress the same actors up in business attire, so as to illustrate the whole growing up/getting old/selling out theme in the song...general criteria is that you should be at least in your mid-twenties (or look it), with a "distinct face" (not sure what that means, but our friend mike, who's directing this, says it's important), and it would probably help if you owned a suit or something, since wardrobe really isn't in the budget...we also need some people to be office drones as well, and just fart around in the background of our interior shotsin shirts and ties, hanging out by the water cooler, or doing whatever it is that office drones do, i dunno...

so, yeah...we're looking to start shooting this asap, since we leave for tour again in three weeks...so i guess get back to us here if you're interested and make sure there's a face pic on your page we can check out or something, i'm not entire sure how to cast a music video, but that seems like a good place to start...

oh yeah, i almost forgot the most important part: the money...there isn't any...but if you make the cut, you'll be able to show the grandkids this video on the youtube one day, and be all "look kids, that's grandpa at 1:47 in the background!"...provided, of course, that nobody's figured out the EMP that'll kill the internet and send us back to the stone age by then...
