The latest dispatch from the world of the Floozies:

1. New Album. Yes "Album" as in vinyl!

2. Newest Floozy addition

3. Another TV Show

4. College Radio Campaign

5. Bullshit, Smoke-Blowers and Ampex 456: the Floozies new recording project.

**7 Deadly Sinners Release Date June 1st!**

Recorded by Steve Albini, mastered by Nick Webb at Abbey Road in London, the Born Again Floozies first full-length album will be released on 12" vinyl picture disc. June 1st 2007. Yes, vinyl only.

This is the record for which the EP Novelties, Addenda and Ephemera was an introduction. The songs on Novelties... were outtakes from 7 Deadly Sinners (more info to come).

**Newest Floozy**

Floozies attract floozies. First there was Joey "Random Abstract Knievel" Welch and Libby "Concrete Sequential Knievel". Then came Ben "Literal Spice" Vokits, Amy "Freudian Slip Spice" Gilmore and Nancy "Spice Rack" Moore. Now we want to officially welcome Charlie Krone On The Slide Trombone, alias "enter pointless band nickname here" Spice.

Yes we are budding into an orchestra of Floozies. The trombone is worthy and bitchin', even.

**Another TV Show!**

A TV show in Ohio (somewhere) has chosen the Floozies' "I Used To Play The Euphonium" to be a featured song on their program. It's called "Rockin' Cookin' Kitchen" and I really think the name says it all (see, it's a Kitchen in which one cooks but also rocks-- right there in the kitchen!) Madness.

**Floozies on the Radio**

With help and hard work from Notorious Radio Promotion (especially

Liz) the floozies were played on several commercial radio stations specialty shows throughout the world (except in our dear hometown and state Indy radio just LOVES local artists-- loves them to death. Did I type that out loud?-- with the exception of WFHB in Bloomington--Thanks FHB! )

That went so well that we will carry the campaign to college radio beginning March 6th. Keep yer ears peeled, maybe you'll hear a Floozy or 5 shakin' up the airwaves.

**Bullshit, smoke-Blowers and Ampex 456**

At the end of Feb 2007 the Born Again Floozies will invade the beautiful and utilitarian studios of and with Mr. Steve Albini. Street Music is the working title of this project and it is full of the vitality, stink, grit and charm that the title suggests.

Albini only uses analog (no digital) recording gear, and deserves every bit of the hype he has gained as an engineer. But who cares about that, the only thing that matters is Albini will capture exaclty what happens in the studio (we record live in the studio-- meaning we all play together with as few overdubs as possible because that's where our vitality lies-- that's where our energy is) and he is a no-bullshit kind of guy-- not the typical smoke-blower yes-man-- because who the hell has time for bullshit and smoke-blowers? Those types just get in the way of a good time-- and life's too short for that kind of crap.

Ever Humbly Yours,

Floozies
