i just got home from band practice. and it was AWESOME!! i really feel rejuvenated, like we had plateaued for a little while and now we got over it and are climbing way higher. simon came to practice (one of my best best friends forever, old bassist, singing partner since we were 17)-- he is singing on a couple of songs at the upcoming showcase on the 28th, and it was so good to hear his voice back on these songs. with him, me, and dan singing 3 part harmonies, it was just so cool. and i'm playing electric guitar (last show was the first), and it really adds a new dimension.

i just love the collective experience of playing with a band, when things just gel and everyone looks around and you just know that it is awesome. sometimes it strikes me that the sound we are creating doesn't sound like 3 guys with 3 instruments, it sounds full and complete. and rockin. totally rockin.

i should be way tired, this was my 8th day of work in a row (of 11), practice ended at 1am, but i'm not tired. i am PUMPED! pumped isn't a "mood" in the list of myspace moods, but it should be, cause that's what i am. i will settle for excited. but know that i really mean pumped.
