HEY!! What a fantastic Folkie that was! I confessed to my son Fenn tonight that I'd been dreading the festival this year a bit because of the workload I was facing...9 gigs in 3 days is a record..but each one was so enjoyable and hassle-free, and so well attended with such gracious, numerous and, in the case of the last Pirates of Beer show at the Shebeen, rabid audiences, that although I was feeling it by the last gig, and my voice was beginning to show a little strain, my bandmates and I just had a whale of a time!!!! Thanks to the beautiful Junes for all the harmony and the laughter, and to the Pirates for giving me and Chris a place to strap on and rock out! Yez are all the bomb....favourite acts I saw were The Red Stick Ramblers...sublime...and The Beez, unique and hilarious. TOPSNESS ALL ROUND!!!! one last thanks...to my little George who was the rockinest kid at the festival and the most obliging...I love you xxxxxx
