Last Sunday Renato Tribuzy was part of the selection jury for the Brazilian entries for the Wacken Open Air Festival.

Every year the Brazilian Heavy Metal magazine, Roadie Crew gets to select a band from each Brazilian state to choose the finalist bands for a national competition. The choosen band will then represent Brazil at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany.

Renato participated as a juror in the  Rio de Janeiro state finals (his hometown), where the winning band was the Dark Tower.

No,this competition is jut for new bands,without album and label deals!

Hi Renato!

Thanks for your answer I understand now!!! So you were more than a qualified musician to choose a band for the Wacken Festival! Very interesting, because your country gave birth to many excellent bands, singers, guitars players etc you know what I mean :-)
